
Our friends at Ticor Title have shared an informative article regarding Oregon’s Senate Bill 1552. On April 11, 2012, the Governer signed a bill that establishes a mediation program for owner-occupied homes in non-judicial foreclosure. This bill provides a framework in which a borrower may negotiate with the borrower’s mortgage lender for a “foreclosure avoidance measure” through the assistance mediator.
